run on about my morning

I got off work early today. I lay floors for money. I mean I help lay floors, I'm not experienced enough to do it myself, although I've done a couple vinyl tile jobs myself. if you need one of those floors on the cheap, I can help you. I was still drunk when I went in this morning, and I kinda made a scene, perhaps. you're supposed to cause it proves your virility or badassness or something, but this was a stinky kind of drunk scene. the guys mess with eachother alot. mess with me alot, too. I've been getting a touch hostile about it, cause I like peace and shit and sweetness too. but today I was loading some carpet pad in the van and steffen my installer shoved the end of it on purpose to make me drop it and I did, and then i pushed him and stomped the end of the dolly he was pushing so it yanked out of his hands. your supposed to keep it mostly verbal when your messing around at work. my boss asked me why I was wearing my aviators in the warehouse and I told him my eyes were dilated. he asked if I was on something, and I said, "its ok if I am, right?" he said yeah, and I sighed, and that was that. as soon as we got in the van to pull off I layed in on steffen with the drunk rambles, I mean really screaming. it was fantastic! then I had to deal with my stumbly motor skills in front of the customer, which was fun too it turned out, and jack black was on good morning america, and this old lady was flopped half way over on the coutch diagonal sleeping, like clutching a blanket. at one point I got real close when nobody was looking and stared at her wrinkles. I ended up gettin a 40 dollar tip when we finished up at 10:30 this morning. I'm just headachey now and wanted to contribute to the blog. I really haven't written anything at all in a long while it seems.

I remember the tiny one bedroom apartment that I shared with my friend Carter that inevitably turned into The Peekers and Carter until he decided to stop coming home so we starting sleeping in his room. His bed was much bigger and more comfortable. California king for real. I'm thinking about this because I'm listening to my favorite album ever....Breakfast Parade. but really I'm thinking about this because I still have a problem with sharing such tiny spaces with anyone. Going on tour is always interesting for me and my soul. And to think, we have added about 6 more people to the picture. The Happy Bullets ya'll! We have shows booked in Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia. We have a daytrotter session scheduled as well.

All of this is wonderful news.

Our garage sale is this saturday and possibly sunday. I really wonder how we will go on tour. We still have the same problem that we have always had, which is transporting ourselves and our equipment. We can't afford to take the bus. Until we convert that yellow hunk of love to vegetables, we will need a van. We leave in less than two weeks.
